I started painting graffiti when I was around twelve. It wasn’t a hobby for long. It became a way of looking at the world — through letters, symbols, repetition, colour and confrontation. Graffiti taught me to make an impact fast. To take space. To communicate without asking for permission. That language never really left. In 2015, when I became a father, something changed. For the first time, I started bringing that energy onto canvas. Around the same time, I made the first **Chanel or Die** — a drawing on paper that I pasted onto a wall in one of Stockholm’s wealthiest neighbourhoods. It was supposed to be one piece. It became a series. From there, the work started travelling further than I ever expected — into exhibitions, homes and private collections around the world. In 2021, Madonna bought three of my original paintings. One of them later appeared in international press when she was photographed in front of it. People sometimes assume a moment like that changes everything. It doesn’t. You still have to go back to the studio. So I did. My work lives somewhere between graffiti, pop culture, luxury, humour and frustration. I’m interested in the things we chase, the things we consume, the things we pretend not to care about — status, money, identity, desire, success. Sometimes the message is obvious. Sometimes the joke takes a little longer. Either way, I want the work to feel immediate. A little uncomfortable. A little funny. And impossible to completely ignore. I’m still painting. Still changing things.
